Exploration, Creativity, & Expression
Lutheran West is a place where students are encouraged to explore their creativity and God-given artistic talents. Regardless of whether a student has prior experience or is just beginning to discover the arts, all students will participate in some capacity in visual and performing arts during their time at West.
We’re especially proud of our arts facilities, including the 490-seat Jochum Performing Arts Center, our music room, and two spacious, naturally lit fine arts studios with an on-site ceramics kiln.
The Jochum Fine Arts Conservatory
The Jochum Fine Arts Conservatory is a pre-professional program designed for students who are passionate about pursuing a future in the arts, whether in college or as a career.
Students in the Conservatory will be able to specialize in their chosen disciplines through dedicated curricular pathways in:
- Theater (Performance or Technical)
- Visual Arts
- Instrumental Music
- Vocal Music
- Dance
The Jochum Fine Arts Conservatory is scheduled to launch for the 2025-2026 school year.

Lutheran West believes in providing creative experiences, offering opportunities for our students to develop their talents and to shine. At the heart of our arts program is the belief that through art, we glorify God and celebrate our faith.”
