Students in the Senney Enterprises Business & Entrepreneurship Academy benefit from thoughtfully developed business-focused coursework, peer collaboration, professional resources, and the opportunity to apply their classroom learnng to real-world business endeavors.
The Academy is one of Lutheran West’s “Centers of Excellence,” which are elite curricular areas in which students can dive deeper into their own emerging interests, talents, and goals. Through the Business & Entrepreneurship Academy, Lutheran West students are gaining practical business skills and knowledge needed to not only pursue a variety of business disciplines in college and career, but also to understand crucial lifelong concepts like financial well-being, law, networking, presentation skills, and more.
As part of Lutheran West’s exceptional academic curriculum and alongside the four other Centers of Excellence, the Senney Enterprises Business & Entrepreneurship Academy is preparing and equipping the next generation of Christian business leaders to impact and shape our world.

The L-DubHub
The Business & Entrepreneurship Academy’s first venture is an onsite retail store named the L-DubHub, which offers Lutheran West branded apparel and accessories. Students are charged with planning and executing all aspects of the business operations, from inventory management to marketing to staffing of the store.

Meet the Dean of The Senney Enterprises Business & Entrepreneurship Academy
Mr. Jim Heal offers a unique background in both Christian education and business, having spent a significant part of his career as an executive at HP and as a Vice President at Fidelity Investments. He has also worked in Christian schools, and has been on the faculty at Lutheran West since 2021.
