Centers of Excellence are curricular areas in which students can choose to focus their educational experience according to their own emerging interests, talents, and goals. This student experience, unique to Lutheran West, positions graduates to become Christian leaders in growing and important fields.

The Senney Honors Academy

Established in 2011, Lutheran West’s Senney Honors Academy motivates students to reach their fullest potentials in high school while preparing them to excel in college. Students who are performing well academically are encouraged to stretch themselves in the classroom, explore their educational and professional futures, and cultivate their spirit of servant leadership.

The Senney Enterprises Business & Entrepreneurship Academy

Students in the Senney Enterprises Business & Entrepreneurship Academy benefit from thoughtfully developed business-focused coursework, peer collaboration, professional resources, and the opportunity to apply their classroom learning to real-world business endeavors.

Longhorn Athletics

The athletic department at Lutheran West fosters a spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork, emphasizing values of integrity and perseverance both on and off the field.

The Fine Arts Conservatory

Currently in development and launching in Fall 2025, the Fine Arts Conservatory will enable students to dive deeper into their creativity and God-given talents in the areas of vocal music, instrumental music, drama, visual arts, and dance.

The STEM Academy

Currently in development, Lutheran West’s STEM Academy will allow students interested in concentrating their educational experiences in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
