MEDINA INVITATIONAL --  The Longhorn wrestlers battled in one of the state's toughest tournaments. Currently the team sits in 37th place out 55 teams. Senior Kevin Naim (145) finished 2-2 on the day with both losses coming to wrestlers who will place in the tournament. Freshmen Parker Watson (120) started out as the first match of the tournament with a second period pin over Morrell of Firelands. Watson finished 1-2. After dropping his first match, freshmen Robert Pinkie (106) pinned his second opponent and finished the day 1-2. Going undefeated for the Longhorns on the first day was junior James Handwerk. Handwerk had 3 first period pins and a 9-3 decision in the quarter-finals to advance to tomorrow's semi-final bout.
