Coach Trey Senney

Trey Senney graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2006. He double majored in Secondary Education and Mathematics. In his four years at Concordia, he played four years of varsity football and varsity tennis. During that time, he was a part of seven conference championship teams and received all conference honors six times. 
 
After graduating from Concordia, Coach Senney accepted a mathematics teaching position at Lutheran South Academy in Houston, Texas. During his four years at Lutheran South, He coached football, women's basketball and both tennis teams (men's and women's). Coach Senney had the privilege of coaching three state champions during his tenure as tennis coach. During his year as Head Women's Basketball Coach at South, he lead the team to a .500 record and generated enough interest to start a JV team for the school.
 
Coach Senney and family decided to move back to the Cleveland area in 2011 to be closer to family. Coach Senney came to Lutheran West as the Women's JV basketball coach in the 2011-2012 season. He held that position for three seasons, before being named the head coach in late May 2014. As an alumni ('02), Senney has a lot of pride and enthusiasm for Lutheran West and basketball and is hoping to instill that in his players.

In the fall of 2015, Coach Senney expanded his coaching portfolio yet again as he was named the Women's Golf head coach. 
 
Coach Senney has been married to his wife Erin since 2007. Their daughter, Emma, was born in 2011 and their second child, Walter, was born in June of 2014.
