ROCKY RIVER --
The Lutheran West Lady Longhorns played their best offensive game of the season, but were not able to overcome the Buckeye Bucks. The Longhorns battled tough in the first half, and were down 32-28 at halftime. Without junior point guard Lindsay Tomola due to a shoulder injury, the Longhorns lost 61-50 in another close PAC-12 conference game.

The Longhorns held the lead several times in the first half as they battled Buckeye and their two six-foot posts. Juniors Amanda Stephens and Ari Tomasula led the team with six points each in the first half.

In the second half, Buckeye pulled away in the third quarter, leading by as many as 14 points. However in the fourth quarter, the Lady Longhorns cut the lead to six points, but could not overcome the deficit. In the second half, the Longhorns were led by senior Katherine Konstan with 11 points and junior Lindsay Thomas with 12. Junior Bre Coreno also had a strong game, scoring 9 points on 3 three-point shots.

Although the Lady Longhorns have yet to win a game, they have continued to improve each game and are going to turn around their season.
