ROCKY RIVER --  The Lutheran West women’s track and field team finished second overall as a team in the Patriot Athletic Conference Championship meet this past Tuesday and Thursday. That is the highest team-placing in the conference meet thus far.  First place finishes were earned by freshman MaQuila Norman in the 400m, and sophomore Michaela Bierly in the 800m who won by 0.2 seconds. Norman's 400m time not only was a personal record, it also was a new meet record and a new school record. Norman also finished second in the 200m. Bierly placed second in the 1600m with senior Olivia Vasiloff following with third. This was another personal record for Bierly.  In addition to the twenty points Ragland contributed to the team score, she set a new PAC meet record in the Shot Put.
In the 3200m, freshman Anna Maxwell and junior Amanda Elkins, having only raced in the 3200m for only the second time in their careers, finished second and third respectively, both with personal records.
