ROCKY RIVER --  June 6 is a big day for Fairview baseball.  It is the day that Longhorn senior Aaron Geye will graduate from Lutheran West—a day of celebration for any Warrior fan who has had to suffer through Geye dominating Fairview for the past three years, including last night’s game.  Geye is 4-0, with 23 Ks against Fairview hitters in 19 innings pitched.  He has allowed only two earned runs in four appearances.

Last night was more of the same, with Geye looking dominant on the hill.  Fairview scratched out three unearned runs in the third but managed little else as Geye only allowed eight base runners in the entire game.  Geye struck out six and walked only three.

Offensively, Geye collected two hits—including a triple—and two RBIs.  Senior Collin McCartney was two for two with two runs scored and four RBIs.  Sophomore Tim Gettinger continued his hitting tare, going three for three with two RBIs and a triple.
West will be looking for the sweep tomorrow when they take the long walk over to Bohlken to complete the season series against the Warriors.
