High Five Scholarships - Is a website with a large collection of scholarships.  It is available to everyone free of charge.  www.HighFiveScholarships.com

FastWeb - A good website for scholarship searches.  The site will send you emails concerning new scholarships that may be of interest to you.  www.fastweb.com

Individual College Scholarships

Concordia University Ann Arbor and Wisconsin - Luther Promise Scholarship  $16,000-20,000 based on GPA and ACT score , check website for info

Ohio Wesleyan - $30,000 Merit Scholarship, 3.4 + GPA. ACT – 23, check college website for info

Apprenticeships

Electrical Apprenticeship Program - a five year program.  Applications are taken on the second Monday of the month from 2:00pm to 6:30pm at 9333 Sweet Valley Dr, Valley View, OH 44125,  See guidance for brochure.

Telecommunications Apprenticeship Program - The Cleveland Telecommunications Installer-Technician Apprenticeship Program is a three year program consisting of six periods with a minimum of 4,800 hours of on-the-job training and a minimum of 480 hours related classroom training.  Pay raises are given with the successful completion of each period.  Must be at least 17 years of age at time of application, and 18 years of age at time of selection and indenture.   Please see the Guidance Department for more information about this program.  Applications are taken the second Monday of the month from 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm at the IBEW/NECA Training Center, 9333 Sweet Valley Drive, Valley View, OH 44125.

Enrichment Programs/Internship Opportunities

The Great Lakes Science Center - The Great Lakes Science Center has an exciting and unique volunteer opportunity for students who are interested in science and science education: Science Break Camps. Camps run during school breaks, which include sessions for winter, spring and 10 weeks in the summer. Applications and additional information on camps are available on their website.

College Internship Program - has two summer programs for teens and young adults with Asperger’s, ADD and other learning differences.  The High School Program for students entering 10th, 11th and 12th grades is located on six college campuses across the US.  The High School Graduates Program takes place at one of 6 centers in Florida, Mass., NY, Indiana or California. Duke University Summer Session - Students currently in Grades 10 or 11 can take classes with Duke professors and earn college credit through Summer College.  Visit the Duke website for details.
